I am a neuroscientist and science communicator with a background in sleep, circadian rhythms and epilepsy. Currently, I work on the Cell Types team at the Allen Institute for Brain Science where I am contributing to efforts to develop a comprehensive reference of cell types in the mammalian cortex.
In addition to research, I am highly passionate about science communication and science-based policy, and frequently perform public outreach through Seattle’s Pacific Science Center, the Society for Neuroscience and Massive Science Consortium.
